5 Marwin Hitz (Augsburg) – Swiss star Hitz is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract with his current club meaning he could be landed on the cheap if the Hammers opt to bid. Hes been a regular since 2013, giving him plenty of top level experience, but at 29 is perhaps only a short-term fix. 5 Lukas Hradecky (Eintracht Frankfurt) – Click the right arrow above for alternative goalkeepers West Ham United could sign… – A former trialist at Manchester United, the Finnish shot-stopper has been making a name for himself in the Bundesliga over the last two campaigns. Confident coming off his line and adept at reflex saves, he could be a big hit at the London Stadium, and may relish following in the footsteps of fellow Finn Jussi Jaaskelainen. 5 Alphonse Areola (Paris Saint-Germain) – If West Ham want a promising goalkeeper with age on his side, they might fancy a punt on PSG star Areola. The Frenchman is set to become the clubs third choice goalkeeper this summer as they hunt for a new shot-stopper, and hes keen to sort out his future. Areola briefly became Unai Emerys No.1 this year but a couple of errors allowed Kevin Trapp to usurp him again. The 24-year-old, with regular game-time, has the potential to be a top goalkeeper, but may need a little patience in a new league. His experiences in France and Spain, though, will have helped him mature. 5 West Ham’s attempts to sign Joe Hart this summer are still subject to plenty of discussion.Latest reports suggest if a permanent deal can’t be reached, he might move to the London Stadium on loan, but this would just extend the uncertainty surrounding their No.1 shirt.Being the first-choice shot-stopper at any club is a big task, and having switched between the inconsistent Darren Randolph and Adrian, it’s clear Slaven Bilic is looking for an improvement between the sticks. So, if a deal for Hart is off the table, who else could the Hammers make a move for this summer?Click the right arrow above for five alternative goalkeepers West Ham United could sign… Mathew Ryan (Valencia) – Brighton are currently interested in the Aussie shot-stopper but, if Slaven Bilic opts to cast his eyes over the Confederations Cup, he might attempt to beat the Seagulls to his signature. The goalkeeper didnt make the break through he will have wanted in Spain but did well on loan at Genk after the turn of the year, and he already has a British passport. 5 Lovre Kalinic (Gent) – It could be a quick turnaround for 27-year-old Kalinic, who only joined the Belgian side from Hajduk Split in January. Belgian side Gent could make a huge profit on the shot-stopper, who cost 3.1m, as his displays, in just five months, saw him named the 2016/17 goalkeeper of the year in Belgium. Everton, and Southampton are amongst the teams taking an interest in him, along with West Ham. With Slaven Bilic also being from Kalinics homeland of Croatia, a deal could be a goer.
