A 32-year-old Sherman Oaks man was arrested Friday in connection with swastikas and anti-Semitic statements posted at the local office of Los Angeles City Councilman Jack Weiss, officials said. Adonis Irwin was arrested about 8:30 a.m., on suspicion of vandalism, with bail set at $40,000. Weiss, who is Jewish, has said he and his office would not be intimidated by the anti-Semitic incident. Irwin made two previous visits to Weiss’ office in the past week to talk about child abuse prevention and concerns about a religious organization called The Family and Children of God, according to sign-in sheets from Weiss’ office. 160Want local news?Sign up for the Localist and stay informed Something went wrong.
